| GET TO KNOW LILA I have lived in the Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, FL area for six years, and have sold real estate for the past five years. I became a Broker in 2006, and a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute in 2007. I have completed the Trans National Referral Certification and Certified International Property Specialist Training in order to better assist international buyers. As an "Expert" on waterfront and golf front homes and condominiums on Amelia Island FL and Fernandina Beach FL, I also specialize in gated communities, Summer Beach, and Amelia Island Plantation homes. I am a member of the Council of Residential Specialists; Amelia Island Nassau County Assn. of REALTORS, and a member of the Board of Directors; the Florida and National Assn. of REALTORS; a Certified VA Agent, and a member of Rotary International and the Amelia Island Fernandina Beach Chamber of Commerce. I volunteer in the community to help people in need from children to families, to seniors, and feeding the homeless, and participate in Women in Nassau Helping Women in Need. |

More About Lila
I was born on a farm in Northeast Kansas, then moved to Ft. Worth, Texas in the mid-90's. After traveling to Florida numerous times over the years, my husband and I to Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island in 2003. I have been married for 40 years to my husband, Robert. We have two daughters - Carol and Jennifer; their husbands, Jason and Chris; and grandchildren, Christian and Isabella, and Landon. I love Amelia Island living, and recommend it to everyone I meet. There is no better place on earth to enjoy the fantastic sunrises, beautiful sunsets, long walks on the fabulous beaches, natural landscape, and wildlife.
I received my Bachelor of Business Administration from Baker University, Baldwin, Kansas, and have also completed over 1000 hours of corporate training in leadership; management; computer science; strategic planning; project management; human resources, organizational staffing, training, development, compensation, and out-sourcing. The majority of my work experience, prior to selling real estate, includes holding various executive positions in Technology Services, for one of the nation's largest railroads, The BNSF.

I previously owned and operated a specialty collector and toy shop; held verious legal assistant positions; and provided services as a national and inter-national travel agent.
My initial exposure to the real estate industry was working in her father's real estate office, answering phones, scheduling, and providing clerical services. I have been instrumental in buying and selling real estate for my personal residences and for investment. After being in the transportation industry for more than 30 years, I decided to embark on a new journey - to help people turn their dreams of owning a home into reality.
